 What has happened so far in the Hamas-Israel war?

 The Palestinian militant organization Hamas launched land, sea and air attacks on Israel on Saturday morning, after which the Israeli army also targeted militant positions in Gaza.

 Hamas has called the attack on Israel 'Operation Storm Al-Aqsa', while the Israeli army has called the counterattack Operation 'Sword of Iron'.

 Hamas claims it has fired more than 5,000 rockets at Israel, while the Israeli military says it has hit targets in Gaza in response to more than 2,000 rockets fired by Hamas.  .

 Hamas fighters broke through the border fence, parachuted and reached different parts of Israel through different routes.

 Hamas fighters patrolled the streets of Israel and seized Israeli security forces vehicles and opened fire in various areas.

 War between Hamas and Israel

 Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu called the attack an open war and said Hamas would pay a heavy price.

 It was not immediately clear why Hamas attacked Israel or how easily the fighters got across the border.

 Israel's Foreign Ministry has confirmed that at least 100 people were killed and more than 900 injured in the attacks by Hamas.

 The Palestinian Ministry of Health also reported that 198 people were killed and more than 1,000 were injured in Israel's retaliation.

 Hamas has also taken Israeli civilians and soldiers hostage.  The Israeli army has confirmed this.

Pakistan has expressed concern over the changing situation in the Middle East.

 The United States, Britain, France, Germany, the Netherlands and others have condemned the attack on Israel, while Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and others have appealed to the parties to show restraint.
